How to write SEO optimized content which actually ranks on the first page of google? That question every blogger has in its mind. Google changes its algorithm after some time to catch false, spin, plagiarized, thin or other kinds of content that lacks SEO optimization. On page optimization is a base of SEO, even you can rank on less competitive keywords without off page SEO. Here I will discuss one by one how you can write SEO optimized content for your blog.
Selection of Keyword
The first step is to choose a keyword, specifically a long tail keyword. but if you find a shorter tail keyword with less competition that is good too. A keyword should have a good balance between monthly searches and competition. Don’t go for even much longer keyword like of 10 words or more with 10 or 50 searches. If you are a new blogger, you should choose long tail keyword with at least 1000 monthly searches and less completion.

Some tools are paid, but you can find the best keywords effectively from free tools like keyword everywhere and Ubbersuggest.
From keyword everywhere
Just Type your keyword in the Search bar of Google. Keyword everywhere will show you its volume, competition, and CPC. If you are using premium or paid version of keyword everywhere you can use the bulk method but now I will talk about a free version of keyword everywhere. In the free version you can find some suggestion of keywords at right bar use them as LSI keywords in your article.
From Keyword Planner
Go to Google AdWords create here free account. Go into a sign in and click on tools and finally on keyword planner. Put your seed keyword in the search bar of keyword planner and click on get ideas.
From LSI Graph
The inclusion of LSI keywords is also important. If your seed keywords are not ranking.LSI can be by-product later. LSI keywords also tell the nature of the content. Good things about the use of LSI graph is that it is a free tool. Just put your keyword in LSI graph and you will have 40 or 50 LSI keywords related to your seed keyword use them in your article.

Competitor analysis is the main ranking factor Because Google wants the best content than a top-ranked site to rank your post. So you should write better than top sites on your seed keyword. Again just type your keyword in google. Open top 5 sites in a separate tab. Check words count, content structure, images use and you should have a thing in mind and your article should be better than this.
If your competitor has written 700 words you should write 800 words, if the competitor has 900 words focus on 1000 words and vice versa. That is the best method and a manual method for competitor analysis and I will not recommend any tool for competitor analysis because they give fake data which can deviate your content. Write your content in a word file and then copy it to your site.
Image and Infographics
It is best practice to use infographics or images in your content. 2-3 Images are recommended if your content is related to information make its infographics they give a better understanding. Embed a video from YouTube relevant to your content. It will reduce the bounce rate.
On Page Import
The final step is to import your content on site. Always use H1, H2 , H3 because heading gives a better explanation of content and Google algorithm picks them as a keyword.
- Give numbering and bullets, where information is separated into little patches.
- Optimize images by using proper description, alt tags, and caption.
- Install the Yoast Plugin and always add a meta description of your post. The meta description should have your seed keyword. and keep it catchy. USE schema pro or Rank math for the star rating and structured data.
- Add your keyword in the first paragraph, last paragraph and in Title. You should prevent keyword stuffing because google will penalize your site later.
- The slug should be optimized; Slug should not be so long with irrelevant keywords or LSI. SLUG SHOULD be clean with single seed keyword.
- Feature image should be clean with the title of your post. Don’t add logo or lines in the Feature image. Make a separate image for social shares.
- Categorize your post, give a specific and category.
Proofreading of your content should be done. If you think there may be grammar mistakes. USE Grammarly extension and remove mistakes from your content. After writing your writing share it on social media accounts for quick engagement.
