Addition of Topics in the Updated Subject List
All the updates which are made by the ICAI for the coming exam are mentioned below:
Firstly, accounting topics of paper 1 have been shited to paper 5 advanced accounting, and
Secondly, ICAI has added dissolution of Partnership firms including piecemeal distribution of assets along with the conversion of partnership firm into a company and sale to a company which is an issue related to accounting in limited liability partnership.
Reduction of Topics in the Updated Subject List
ICAI has removed few topics from the updated subject list. So the list is as follows:
- Firstly, the Underwriting of shares and debenture is removed,
- Secondly, the Valuation of goodwill is also removed.
- The Application of Guidance Notes issued by the ICAI on specified accounting aspects also students has to prepare for the coming exams.
- Also, Financial Reporting of Insurance Companies and Mutual Funds and regulatory requirements thereof.
